    Introduction:

    Priorities for our boxing class

    • Having fun - Having fun is super important, because if your having fun, your not gonna wanna come back and work out more

    • Fitness - Working out, being healthy, and getting in good shape is our 2nd priority with this class

    • Learning boxing - You will actually be learning technique, footwork, punches and skills

    Handwrap

    • Put on pinky and behind your hand

    • Three times around your wrist

      1. Keep hand tight and still

    • Go from your wrist up to in between your pinky and ring finger

    • Go back around your hand and in between your ring finger and middle finger

    • Then go between your middle and pointer finger

    • Go around your pinky and wrap your knuckles 3 times

    • Finish off by crossing till you come to velcro

    Stance

    • Lefty or Righty?

      1. Imagine your on a skateboard or snowboard

      2. Runner's stance

      3. Push Test

    • Movement - Forward and Backwards

      1. Take a step forward with your front foot, the back foot follows

      2. Same applies for moving backwards, step back with you back foot, and your front foot follows

    • Practice - Forwards and Backwards

      1. Move forward 3 times

      2. Move backwards 3 times

    • Movement - Left to Right

      1. Take a step to the left

        • Righty - Front foot first, back foot follows

        • Lefty - Back foot first, front foot follows

      2. Back to center

      3. Take a step to the right

        • Righty - Back foot first, front foot follows

        •  Front foot first, back foot follows

    • Hands

      1. Your hands go up by your face

      2. Always have your hands up

    Warm up:

    • 25 Jumping Jacks

    • Arms circles forwards

    • Arm circles backwards

    • Punch to the side

    • Punch up

    • Punch Down

    • Punch Upx

    • Punch to the side

    • Arm Circles Forward

    • Arm Circles Backwards

    • Reverse lunge with a twist

    • Worlds greatest stretch
